DERMAROLLER APLLICATION

It is known throughout the world as ‘mesoroller’ and ‘microneedling’. It is a very effective device used since the beginning of 2000s. It is formed of very thin (0.1mm) 192 steel needles which have been placed on a cylindrical tambour and which have been especially prepared. Symmetry of the needles, the material of which they are made, the depth of the part that is left on the cylinder and the part that will enter the skin and the number of needles is important criteria.

DERMATHERAPY

It is the procedure of applying products that contain growth factor, biomimetic peptide and stem cell extract into the skin with massage through the microchannels opened with dermaroller.

EFFECT MECHANISM OF DERMAROLLER

Dermaroller opens microchannels on the skin which are closed naturally in 5 to 15 minutes and which do not leave any traces (approximately 300 channels in 2nd cm ). Although the microchannels opened by the needles of dermaroller do not seem like a real wound they are perceived as wounds by the body. Wound healing mechanism is a process during which structures such as collagen, hyaluronic acid and glucosamine , which increases the elasticity of the skin and which provides anti-aging, is synthesize naturally.  Dermaroller triggers the skin to produce the structure that it lacks in cases of skin problems.

MAJOR USAGE AREAS OF DERMAROLLER

It increases new collagen, elastin, fibronectin and hyaluronic acid hence providing anti-aging effects. It is used in melasmas and hyper pigmentation. It is used successfully with acne scars.  It helps reducing the skin structure with large pores. It lightens the appearance of stretch marks. It lightens the appearance of traces from smoking burns, normal burns etc.

IT IS SAFE It does not create sensitivity for sunlight.  It is used easily during summer months. It does not need a special care after application.  The patients can carry n their daily lives after dermaroller application.

STEPS OF APLLICATION

1- The area is sedated with local anesthesia creams before the application. After that it is cleaned with antiseptic solutions. 

2- Targeted area is scanned in the shape of  a star for 4 to 10 times at least. Therefore, 250 to 400 microchannels are opened in 2nd cm.  It is recommended to continue the applications until punctual bleeding (petechia) occurs during the use of dermaroller.
3- Before the microchannels that formed up close within 5 to 15 minutes, the product fit for the purpose of application is fed into the skin with massage.
4- The skin is cleaned again with the antiseptic solution after the application.
5- Dermaheal Face Masks, which have been cooled in the refrigerator, can be applied for 20 minutes after the application in order to reduce rash and burning. Growth factors and biomimetic peptides that have been soaked to the masks play a role in terms of increasing the effect.
6 - If dermaroller will be used as a treatment alone, the development on the skin within 4th to 6th week after the application should be assessed and dermaroller should be applied again if necessary.
